We are starting our 36th season, and look forward to hearing from you and being part of your family's holiday tradition.

Autumn is in the air September 13 2016

We are harvesting the last of the fruits and veggies, getting the firewood stacked, and the stockings stitched--preparing for another Maine holiday season and WINTER. After the hottest summer on record, it almost sounds appealing. As the kids get on the bus for school once again, and the leaves turn their brilliant colors, we celebrate all the families we have been part of. Thank you for supporting our small family business and letting us share your holiday memories.

Here on the Coast of Maine summer is so short and so sweet.... The first day of Autumn yesterday brought a fresh chill to the air and school buses are replacing the cars from out of state that bump along the country roads. Time to dig potatoes, gather apples for pressing into cider, chop firewood, and build warm and colorful memories to sustain us through the long winter. We are knitting up a storm and look forward to your orders as the holiday season approaches. Thank you for welcoming our heirloom handmade products into your homes and hearts.

Our NEW site! August 26 2014

We are excited to be back--our old web site was inexplicably wiped out in cyberspace and we have been working to build this new one in time for the holiday rush. Summer's end here in Maine is always bittersweet--the enjoyment of the golden days of late August is tempered by a feeling of urgency to stack the firewood and harvest the garden in preparation for another WINTER.

Which means it is our season! The knitting needles are flying and we are stocking up to be sure to have enough stockings on hand for your orders. If you don't see the particular design you are looking for here, let us know as we have years of patterns and variations and can knit something up for you.

Best wishes from our family to yours....
