For the past forty-five years, this family business has enhanced the Yuletide tradition of hanging Christmas stockings by the fireplace with care. Our stockings are knit from 100% virgin wool yarn spun by Harrisville Designs in Harrisville, New Hampshire, a family-run mill that has been spinning yarn in the same picturesque village for over 50 years. As one of a handful of woolen mills left in this country, Harrisville's textile tradition is rich and dates back to 1794 when the first of several mills was built across the Nubanusit River to harness the water-power necessary for carding fleeces brought down to the village from local hilltop farms. Heirloom quality is knit into each Christmas Cove Designs stocking and we are honored to be a part of your family every Christmas.

When we invented the Sock Hook® it rapidly cornered the stocking hanger market with its simplicity of design and strength of purpose. Made of steam-bent ash with birch balls, it is lightweight but durable. It is the ideal solution for hanging Christmas stockings from a mantel or shelf. Each Sock Hook® receives handmade attention to detail and is proof that Made in USA is a label to be proud of.
